It's time I tell my side of the story. This is my official statement. I am the bouncer.
It’s very disheartening to see drama arise like that of the drama that stemmed from a series of drama filled dramatic events, drama, and drama between the Moomba+, Rot10 Musik, drama, and Sazon Booya circles. Drama. Both Rot10 Musik and Moomba+ have had a chance to release official drama regarding the chain of events that occurred in Miami late last week that tell their sides of how the once tight-knit moombahton community began to get into a huge pissing contest.
When you start any partnership even outside of music two individuals come together to unite their talents and thus come together to start a business. You see, it's a lot more complicated than just fucking making music. Somewhere between SAV's playing with my camera, he came to realize that this musical partnership was actually a business. Sazon Booya was not any different. They filed taxes, they bought stuff, they drank coffee. They are a business. Personal matters should be handled privately and not scattered across the Internet. Nah fuck that. Let me stir some shit up and say why I feel the need to be an internet tough guy.
To say that SAV did nothing but video saddens me. SAV also took video. Give him credit.
Skrillex, Knife Party, Sidney Samson, Afrojack, Diplo, Rusko.
Alright, that was some good name dropping.
Daft Punk.
For the past two years, I have dedicated my life to being a bouncer. A duty, I considered an honor and a privilege, and treated more as a lifestyle than a job. I had an erection for Moombahton since I first heard Munchi. I never wanted to be put in a position where I would have to take one side over the other. However, these current circumstances, leave me no choice, but to state the facts as best as I witnessed them throughout my two minute stint with Sazon.
On Friday evening, Rot10 Musik artists Minimaxx, DJ EJ and OMF arrived at the venue to find equipment both faulty and not set up. It was then they realized that they were actually at an Olive Garden. That being said they waited to get breadsticks. Ape Management – Rot10′s business partners – were then alerted that the label’s involvement in the event needed to be cancelled. Drama was going to be headlining. Mr. Forns was notified, and posts went out on Twitter and Facebook that Rot10 Musik would not be making drama and not music.
Sazon Booya's manager was upset he wasn't invited to a party, so he did what any reasonable, mature adult would do. He unplugged shit in the middle of a show. Fueled with the jealousy of Stephen talking on the microphone, he took that too. He was quoted as saying, "You're a big meanie head."
That's where I come in. I'm the bouncer. I fuck shit up. Basically I made this dude walk very fast with my hands. I push him out of the door. So what if guys like me got C's in high school. I can still fuck up your night at a club. Me and my bros wear matching security shirts. Don't fuck with us. So I pushed this dude out, as well as a few others of the Rot10 crew. I kicked them to the curb. It was at that time that I quoted my favorite line from Home Alone 2.
"Merry Christmas ya filthy animals... and a Happy New Year."
I hope this cleared things up for you guys. In an attempt to move past the unfortunate events of the past week, Mr. Vega has planned to release not just new music but new drama.
